About me...

Born and raised in Canby, Oregon, my roots run deep in the farming community where I grew up showing cattle and competing with my show horse. After graduating from Canby High School, I pursued my education at OSU, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a double minor in Psychology and Human Development and Family Science.

Driven to further refine my business skills, I recently completed my MBA in Marketing at OSU (December 2024), with specialized coursework in digital media marketing, integrated marketing communications, and CRM. This academic foundation is already being put to use in my career. Since April 2024, I’ve served as the Events Coordinator for Liberty House Center, a local nonprofit organization. In this role, I’ve collaborated with the development and executive directors to plan and execute successful fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and donor appreciation gatherings.

My responsibilities extend beyond event planning to encompass a wide range of marketing and communication efforts. I’ve developed engaging event collateral, managed social media content, and supported the community engagement team in maintaining a year-long calendar of events and outreach initiatives.

Over the past decade, I’ve also immersed myself in the music industry as a country singer-songwriter, touring extensively throughout the Northwest. As the lead singer, creative director, and band manager, I oversaw logistics, marketing, and sales to ensure successful shows for both venues and audiences.

Beyond entertainment, I’m passionate about enriching the lives of families and communities. For two years, I worked as a lead preschool teacher and family advocate for the Head Start Program in Clackamas County. More recently, I served as a family educator, providing social work services for the Marion County Head Start for a year and a half.

Drawing from my diverse background in entertainment, event planning, social work, and now with a formal marketing education, I offer a unique skill set focused on creating memorable and impactful experiences. My ultimate aspiration is to lead a team that organizes exceptional events that are not only entertaining but also enriching for the community. I’m particularly excited to leverage my skills to design and promote events that bring families together and create lasting memories. I am driven, organized, and committed to delivering extraordinary experiences while fostering positive relationships with clients.
